Rain, sleet, snow, and ice are all on the menu for Central Minnesota this week, with below average highs adding insult to injury. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for areas north of St. Cloud through 10 AM Monday morning for up to 3" of snow. Included in the advisory are Brainerd, Little Falls, Princeton, Cambridge, Mora, and Hinckley.

Rain, snow, and sleet are expected the St. Cloud area tonight and Monday, with up to an inch of snow accumulation possible. That precipitation combination is expected to continue across the area off-and-on through the week.

Give the drought-like conditions in Minnesota, we should probably be thankful for the needed moisture, but I would be much more in favor of warm Spring rains.

The long-range forecast has highs climbing back into the 50's for the weekend.
