Dear Baxter, Did I Marry a Slut?

Hey Baxter,

Recently, I traveled with my wife to her hometown of Hickman, Kentucky for her high school reunion. After several drinks, one of her classmates made a comment about my wife, in her younger days, slept with just about every guy in town. I don't know what to think. My wife just says the past is the past and to get over it. Not sure I can. What do you think. Did I marry a slut?

Stop dwelling on the negative. There are a couple of things on the positive side. First of all, I looked up Hickman, Kentucky and hey, the towns not that big. Secondly, out of all those guys, she picked you. That's gotta be worth something. Let the past go. Did you marry a slut?  That's pretty harsh. Think of her as a good sport. Hope this helps.
