Def Leppard lead singer Joe Elliot has a new side project called Down n' Outz and they're releasing a new song and video.

Did you know Joe Elliot Def Leppard had a side project? Me either, but he does and it's called Down n' Outz.

The clip for Down n’ Outz Rock and Roll Queen premieres on Billboard.com today.

The video was shot in Joe Elliot’s home town of Sheffield, England at a “dark, dirty and seedy” nightclub and he called it the “perfect setting” for the video.

Joe says that being in that environment “brought back great memories” of being at a club just like that watching bands when he was growing up.

The side project was created back in 2009 for a one off performance as a tribute to Mott the Hoople, but they had so much fun, they stayed together and are now releasing their second album called The Further Adventures of… which is on shelves now.
