Def Leppard  is heading to Vegas as Viva Hysteria! opens to the public.

Def Leppard begins their residency this weekend in Las Vegas and according to Las Vegas Weekly, fans are in for "a real treat".

Guitarist Phil Colin says that the band has gotten more than 30 songs ready for the stay, called Viva Hysteria! Phil says that Viva is a two part show and the first half will be rarities and deeper tracks and then the second half is the whole Hysteria album front to back and he says there are some songs in the show that they have never ever performed live before. Phil adds that he's excited about their residency because it's "brand new" for the guys and feels that, "fans, especially die-hard fans, are just going to freak when they hear some of these songs."

Def Leppard's Viva Hysteria opens tonight at The Joint inside the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino and wraps April 11. If you can't make it, don't worry. They're recording the shows for a later release and you can also pick up their other live release called Mirrorball that's pretty cool, too.
