ST. CLOUD -- A St. Cloud man was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and obstructing police Tuesday after an incident at the Municipal Athletic Complex in St. Cloud.

Officers were called to the MAC just after 3:00 p.m. on a report of a man wearing only a small towel and trying to get into the both the baseball and golf complexes. The man was acting erratically and swearing at staff members after being denied entrance.

Police arrived to find the man, 36-year-old Adam Sundquist swimming in the Sauk River. Sundquist refused to get out of the river and instead began floating downstream. Police were finally able to get him to exit the river almost 30 minutes later.

Sundquist was taken to St. Cloud Hospital for an evaluation and then booked into the Stearns County Jail on an arrest warrant for probation violations. He was also cited for the other offenses.
