Dog Days of Summer

I just returned from a 12 day vacation. I can't tell you how relaxing it can be. A week is not nearly enough to decompress. One of the biggest joys of my vacation,besides spending time with my wife of course, was getting to spend time with my dog Astro. I don't get to see him that often, as I'm away from home five days a week working here in St Cloud.

Astro is a first generation Labradoodle and loves nothing more that fetching his bright orange retriever toy out of the lake.

When you watch the video, notice how he takes time to show me where his retriever toy is. He actually waits until I have it in my hand before he'll run down to the lake.

I'll throw this thing out multiple times until I see he is slowing down a bit. If it were up to him he would keep going until he collapsed.

Simply put, dogs are the best!
