Dokken Featured On 80’s At 8 With “Breaking The Chains” [VIDEO]
Dokken a band out of Los Angeles with great showmanship. Formed in 1976 by Don Dokken (vocals) , George Lynch (lead guitar) , Juan Croucier (bass)and Mick Brown ( drums).
Juan Croucier left Dokken in '83 to join Ratt, Jeff Pilson filled that vacancy.
Don Dokken and Mick Brown are the only original members.
Dokken has opened form many a great band including Dio, Aerosmith, Judas Priest and AC/DC. Don Dokken has also provided back-up vocals for The Scorpions.
"Breaking The Chains" was originally released on the German Label Carrere Records under the name Don Dokken.
Like a lot of bands they found themselves battling over creative and personal differences which forced a break-up in 1989.
The band Lynch Mob was formed due to the break-up with George Lynch and Mick Brown (reformed in 1993).
In 2010 Don Dokken and George Lynch appeared on the Tv show " That Metal Show".
