As a connoisseur of all things alcoholic, I’m always keeping my eyes open for the next booze fueled adventure I can take – whether it’s a winery, distillery, or anything else – I’m game to check it out. One such adventure I’m excited to take is the East Central Craft Beverage Trail.

A handful of locally owned brewing companies came together to give Minnesotans this pretty unique drinking experience. The newly formed Trail is in Pine, Kanabec, and Isanti counties. It includes four wineries, two breweries, a distillery and a cidery. The wineries include - North Folk Winery, Northern Hollow Winery, Ann River Winery, and Boondoggle Winery.

The breweries are Three Twenty Brewing Company and BeerClub Brewing. The distillery is Isanti Spirits and the cidery is Sapsucker Farms Yellow Belly Cidery. Trail passports are available for free at each of these establishments.

When a participant visits each site, they receive a stamp. Completed passports are then entered into a drawing to receive a gift basket full of goodies from the trail members. This is definitely something I will be checking out at some point in the near future.
