From their 1984 album ‘Agent Provocateur’, “I Want to Know What Love Is” skyrocketed to number one in both U.S. and U.K.

I would say it’s probably the song the band’s best known for even though they had several hits. The song itself had a lot of help with background vocals which featured the gospel group New Jersey Mass Choir, Jennifer Holliday (actress/singer) and The Thompson Twins.
