It’s time to stop calling her Hermione and start calling her by her name – Emma Watson! The ‘Harry Potter’ actress is all growns up, and she’s coming into her own away from her wizard friends with a number of interesting post-‘Potter’ movie roles.

This week, today’s “crush” stars in writer-director Stephen Chbosky’s long-awaited film version of his popular novel ‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower.’ The British actress plays Sam in the movie, co-starring Logan Lerman and previous Crush of the Day Nina Dobrev.

Twenty-two-year-old Watson was born in Paris but relocated to Oxford at an early age. She co-starred in the first ‘Harry Potter’ flick in 2001 and has had no trouble finding gigs since the popular series ended. She has at least four films slated to open over the next few years, including Darren Aronofsky’s upcoming ‘Noah’ epic.

Yes it’s true, Watson will always be associated with the smartest young with of them all, Hermoine Granger, but she’s working hard not be tied to that role for the rest of her life. We applaud this hot young thing’s talent and ambition.
