Record Store Day is coming and so are some pretty awesome releases. Here’s the list.

Expect special Record Store Day releases from the likes of King Crimson, Aerosmith and Jimi Hendrix.

The King Crimson record will feature about a dozen live tracks going all the way back to the 1960’s. The album, called Going Schitzoid with King Crimson will feature I Talk to the Wind from 1969, three recordings from 1972 and 21st Century Schizoid Man from a performance in Central Park in 1974. There’s also the 1998 San Francisco performance of Seizure. There will also be a graphic novel in the package as well as a shirt, poster and stickers with artwork from In the Court of the Crimson King.

Aerosmith is remastering their self titled debut, Get Your Wings and Toys in the Attic. Those will be released on 12 inch 180 gram vinyl especially for the day.

Expect more wax from the Jimi Hendrix camp as well. The mono Hey Joe backed with Stone Free will be released on a seven inch 45.

We reported a couple of weeks ago that Cream was also gearing up for a special release for Record Store Day. They’re doing a triple live vinyl album release.

Mark your calendars because these releases are extremely limited. Record Store Day 2013 is set for April 20.
