The Minnesota Wild (28-20-7) jumped out to a 3-0 lead, and were able to hang on for the eventual 6-3 win over the visiting Carolina Hurricanes (19-28-7) last night at the Xcel Energy Center. The win also ties the Wild's franchise 'point-streak' record at ten games.

Thomas Vanek had two goals and an assist for the Wild, with the other four goals coming from Schroeder, Prosser, Haula, and Parise.

Minnesota goalie Devan Dubnyk made 24 saves and is 10-1-1 since being acquired in a trade from the Arizona Coyotes on January 14th.

Calgary also won last night, so Minnesota remains two points back from the final Wild Card playoff spot.
