The Doors are releasing their last album in January. You might want to mark this date down.

January 24 is the day L.A. Woman is going to get a deluxe remaster to honor the 40th Anniversary of its release.

L.A. Woman is coming out in a double-disc form that will include a digital remaster of the original record and there will be a bonus album of alternative takes and never before heard tracks. There will also be a DVD and Blu Ray release of the making of L.A. Woman. It's a documentary called Mr. Mojo Risin': The Story of L.A. Woman that will chronicle the making of the album that will include interviews with Ray Manzarek, John Densmore and Robby Kreiger.

L.A. Woman is the last record The Doors made before Jim Morrison's death at the age of 27.
