A FLASH FLOOD WATCH has been issued for most of Central Minnesota, including the St. Cloud area, in effect until 10:00 AM Sunday morning. Much of the area has already received significant rain today, with additional heavy rain expected tonight, making flooding a possibility.

Some of the cities included in the watch area are St. Cloud, Little Falls, Brainerd, Milaca, Princeton, Mora, Hinckley, Foley, Elk River, Cambridge, Willmar, Litchfield, Monticello, Hutchinson, and the Twin Cities.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding. Flash Flooding is a very dangerous situation. You should be prepared to take action should flash flood warnings be issued.
