A FLASH FLOOD WATCH remains in effect for most of Central Minnesota, including the St. Cloud area, in effect until 1:00 pm Monday afternoon. Much of the area has already received several inches of rain, with additional heavy rain expected today, making flooding a possibility.

Some of the cities included in the watch area are St. Cloud, Foley, Princeton, Mora, Monticello, Litchfield, Cambridge, Elk River, Willmar, and the Twin Cities.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding. Flash Flooding is a very dangerous situation. You should be prepared to take action should flash flood warnings be issued.
