Pink Floyd was a band that knew to key to defying the odds of conventional wisdom and winning at it with a full head of steam.

Let me define the opening statement by stating most conventional ways are to release the album then do the tour for the live experience. Pink Floyd on the other hand will perfect the album in a live performance first thing then release the album.

No doubt that Pink Floyd knew what they were doing after all the proof is in the pudding. 'Dark Side of the Moon' would debut at #1 and would break records by becoming a staple on the Billboard Top 200 chart for 741 weeks from 1973 to 1988, impressive.

To this day the album is still a fixture on the Catalog albums sales chart, go figure.

The documentary itself on DVD was released back in 2003 but the the Blu-Ray format will be released August 27th, 2013.
