For August, Santana And McLaughlin – ‘Invitation To Illumination – Live At Montreux 2011′ [VIDEOS]

When it comes to the Montreux Jazz festival, it's like home away from home for Carlos Santana and it's always a nice surprise to see who his featured guests will be.Santana can accommodate just about any genre with the variety of guests that appear with the great guitar player.

He's teamed up with the likes of Patti Austin, Chick Corea, Buddy Guy, Wayne Shorter and Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown, that's quite the upper class.

This go around we find Carlos teaming up with another staple of the Montreux Jazz festival, another great guitar player John McLaughlin (Mahavishnu Orchestra) who Carlos co-headlined with at the festival in 2011.

The DVD, Blu-Ray and Digital Video for 'Invitation to Illumination - Live at Montreux 2011' will be available August 20th, 2013.
