Former Viking Darren Sharper Arrested On Suspicion Of Rape

Former Minnesota Viking (also New Orleans Saint, Green Bay Packer) Darren Sharper was arrested by Los Angeles Police yesterday on suspicion of rape. The 38 year-old Sharper was immediately suspended by the NFL Network where he is an analyst. He's being held on $200,000 bond in connection with two sexual assaults.

The New Orleans Police Department said today that they are also is investigating an alleged sexual complaint filed in September against Sharper.

Sharper's court date has been set for February 14th in Los Angeles.
