BECKER -- Four people were arrested after a Becker home was burglarized late Friday morning.

The incident happened around 10:00 a.m. at a home in the 152nd block of 59th Street in Becker Township.

Sherburne County Sheriff Joel Brott says 57-year-old Robert Suess of Becker called police while four people had invaded his home. Brott says a fight happened between Suess and the suspects. He says Suess was struck in the face with the butt of a rifle during the fight.

The suspects left the home in a vehicle before deputies arrived. Brott says Suess did give a description of the car and suspects to the authorities.

Deputies later found the vehicle matching the description. After a short chase all four suspects fled from the car on foot.

Brott says over the course of four hours all suspects, 26-year-old Tevon Scott of Burnsville, 22-year-old Chazmere Dooley of Bloomington, 25-year-old James Whilay of Minneapolis and 19-year-old Ashley Carlson of Crystal, were found, arrested and taken to the Sherburne County Jail. All four are being held on burglary and assault charges.

Suess had minor injuries from the incident.
