‘Gene Simmons Family Jewels’ Season 8 is a Go! [VIDEO]

KISS bassist Gene Simmons, his new bride Shannon Tweed and their two children are returning to their reality television show 'Gene Simmons Family Jewels' and the premiere date is sooner than expected.

The A&E reality show will premiere on May 28th at 9 PM with a special 1 hour episode. Last season ended with Gene and Shannon finally tying the knot after being together for 28 years. Which still boggles my mind, clearly they had a relationship that was working for them, 28 years is a long time, why change the status of the relationship after that long? It sounds like too much pressure at that point, I don't think I would do that.

The new season will give you a look into the couples African honeymoon and you will get to see how Gene handles being a married man while out on tour.  Here is a clip from the season premiere episode.
