On a scale of one to 10 fingers, this photo gets a solid nine.

The New York Daily News has gotten a picture of the New York Giants defensive end's hand with the finger he injured during an accident while setting off fireworks on July 4. You can see a stub where the missing digit should be.

JPP, meanwhile, doesn't think his missing index finger on his right hand will impede his ability to play.

Earlier this week, Pierre-Paul posted a video on Instagram showing him working out, but it failed to give anyone a good look at his hand (note the graphic language in the accompanying song):

Pierre-Paul's status is up in the air. He hasn't suited up yet this season and the Giants do not have plans to pay him his nearly $15 million franchise tag tender. The team does not expect him to play this year, although it will examine him again in October.
