Paul Bunyan's Axe will stay in Madison for another year following #16 Wisconsin's (9-2) 20-7 win over the Minnesota Gophers (8-3) yesterday afternoon in Minneapolis. While Gopher coach Jerry Kill says there are no 'moral victories,' he does admit his pride in his young team's effort against the visiting Badgers.

The win is Wisconsin's tenth straight over Minnesota, the longest in the history of the rivalry that dates back to 1890.

Minnesota quarterback Phillip Nelson completed just 7 of 23 for 83 yards. Gopher running back David Cobb carried the ball 17 times for 68 yards.

After Wisconsin rushed for a staggering 554 yards last week against Indiana, they were held to just 197 yards on the ground by the Minnesota defense, 100 fewer than the Badger's season average.

Minnesota wraps up it's regular season next Saturday at Michigan State.
