Governor Cancels Public Schools Statewide For Today

Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton has announced that all Minnesota Public Schools will be closed today (1/6) due to the extreme cold. The decision to close schools across the state was announced Friday in order to give school administrators, teachers, and parents sufficient time to plan for these closures.

Stay safe and warm, as lows Monday morning in Central Minnesota will approach -30, with wind chills near -50.
