Apparently, there's a Grateful Dead tribute album on the way. Here's what we know so far.

According to Relix Magazine, more artists are signing on to be part of the Grateful Dead tribute album.

The project was headed up by two members from The National and it has grown like wildfire since then as members from Vampire Weekend, Bon Iver, War on Drugs and Kurt Vile are now signed on for contributions. They're also hoping for members of Sonic Youth and Yo La Tengo to come on board.

Nationals guitarist Aaron Dessner knows that it's going to be quite the undertaking, but says that everyone involved is "pretty obsessed" with the band, so getting the right people to be part of it and cooperate shouldn't be an issue.

There's still no title or release date as of yet, but all of the proceeds from the sale of the album will go to charity.
