Gregg Allman Tribute Concert Heading to DVD

The all star Gregg Allman tribute concert held in Atlanta in February is coming soon to a DVD near you.

The stars came out to honor Gregg Allman at the Fox Theater in Atlanta back in January and for those of us that missed out, good news! The concert is coming soon to DVD.

All My Friends: Celebrating the Songs and Voice of Gregg Allman stars Gregg himself, Jackson Browne, Sam Moore, Dr. John and country singers Vince Gill and Zac Brown; among others. Gregg said that he really enjoyed working with Vince and Zac and that their presence “added something special to it.”

The digi-pack will have the DVD, but an added bonus is the two CD set that comes with it. The set will be out May 6.

Gregg recently had to cancel some shows as he recovers from bronchitis, but according to his website, he says that he’s “almost 100 percent” and is looking forward to performing again.
