Gymboree Closing 350 Stores, St. Cloud to Remain Open

ST. CLOUD -- A children's clothing store in St. Cloud will stay open despite the company's recent bankruptcy.

Gymboree Corp. will be closing 350 stores across the country but the one in Crossroads Center, Gymboree, will remain open.

The company announced Tuesday that it's closing much of its Gymboree and Crazy 8 stores after filing for bankruptcy last month.

In Minnesota, the Edina, Burnsville, Eden Prairie, Mankato, Maple Grove and Medford Gymboree locations will be closing. Closing sales are to start next Tuesday.

The San Francisco based company was established in 1976.
