January 1974 a very good year for a lot of bands, however; there were a lot of the artists leaving the bands that provided the confidence to head out as solo artists.That was the year Daylight Savings Time started roughly four months early, the speed limit dropped to 55 mph, someone snapped a picture of the Loch Ness Monster, and the Senate Watergate Committee was in battle with President Nixon over the release of the precious tape recordings.

That year was there was a soundtrack for a movie that was never made, also a very popular artists first solo album and an artists 14th solo album plus a band that turned their acoustic sound into hard rock.
