Usually when you think of Little Falls, you think of their zoo, or maybe the massive arts and crafts fair every summer... but this weekend tops them all when residents of the town break out all the stops for The Dam Festival.

The festival starts on Friday with the cleverly named Dam Sidewalk Sale, a performance by the band Power Plant, and a street dance featuring The Roosters.

Saturday things really get moving with the kick-off ride for the opening of the Mississippi River Trail Bikeway. The Dam 2 Dam Bike Ride will start at 8:00 a.m. at LeBourget Park. The total route is about twenty miles long. The ride is free, but any donations will go to the LFCVB in an effort to help make Little Falls more bike friendly.

You can watch for The LOON truck piloted by SLOAN in the parade at 11 on Saturday morning. Afterwards, head over to the Family Carnival, petting zoo and the entertaining Mega Action Sports Experience (BMX Riders). There's also food, airplane rides, Turtle Races, and a street dance featuring Brat Pack Radio.

Then Saturday night  you can sit down and relax on the banks of the Mississippi River and enjoy the fireworks.

Sunday, the fun continues with The Bald Eagle Water Ski Team at Le Bourget Park.
