Heading out to the Benton County Fair this Weekend?

Now that I have moved back here... I think I need to take in the yearly tradition of the Benton County Fair.  It's literally been 10 years since I have been there.  I'm sure they have all the regular stuff... 4H Building, cheese curds, rides on the Midway that I can't ride anymore because I get sick super easily now, and of course, the beer garden with the beer garden stage.  And music...

Usually I love the music that they have on the stage.  Friday it's 32 Below.  They are a country band that I have heard many times.  They are based out of Fargo, and used to actually live in the same townhome complex that I did while I lived there quite a few years ago.  Might have to go and check them out and see if they are still as good as I remember them being.... I'm sure they are.

Then,on Saturday night it's a band called Snake Oil.  I know nothing about them.  So, I looked up their website.  Is it just me, or do they seem like they are trying the same schtick as Hairball?  Only maybe not as well????  I'm going to definitely have to check these guys out.  Hey, maybe it's super cool... a Hairball Tribute Band.  how ironic!

Plus there is this new thing called Sandscapes.  That sounds super cool.  I wanna see what that's all about too.

Whatever you decide to do, have a great time at the fair!!!!  Eat all sorts of things you normally would never eat, watch people you probably would never see until next time the fair rolls around, and just have a general good time.  Pet the animals too.  It's county fair time!!  YAY!!
