At this point, if you're still using Yahoo for your email and messaging then you're just asking for no privacy. They just announced another breach of many user accounts.

As Yahoo calls it, it's a "state-sponsored actor" breach. The way the hackers got into your accounts was through cookie-forging. Cookies are a file that's placed on your computer to associate you with an ID to enter without having to login. When a user's cookie is forged by another user, it essentially will bring them directly into your account.

The folks at Yahoo aren't saying exactly "how many" accounts were breached, but it's presumed to be in the billions of users in a period of 2015 to 2016. Hackers had access to user's email addresses, security question, and birth dates.

I appreciate what Gmail has to offer, and have never had an issue.
