The High School Football regular season comes to a close tonight throughout the area.  The matchups include Rocori (4-3) at Tech (3-4) at Husky Stadium at SCSU at 7pm, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 6:45.  Both teams have lost 3 games in a row.   Rocori is playing without starting quarterback Mac Mueller who is out with a separated shoulder.  Junior Brad Fabel has been starting in place of Mueller.

Tech has led in the 4th quarter in each of the last 3 games but haven't been able to close the deal against Moorhead, Sartell and Apollo.  Tech is led by senior running back Jacob Peterson.  Peterson became the all-time leading rusher in Tech football history earlier this season by passing Scott Schmitz and has surpassed 200 yards rushing in a games numerous times this season.

Sartell-St. Stephen (5-2) will play at Bemidji tonight at 7pm.  The Sabres have lost 2 of their last 3 including a home defeat against Willmar last week.  Bemidji beat Sauk Rapids-Rice 41-20 last Friday night.

Sauk Rapids-Rice (1-6) will host Willmar tonight at 7pm.  The Storm lost at Bemidji Friday night while Willmar upset Sartell-St. Stephen last Friday.

Apollo (2-5) will play at Fergus Falls (5-2) tonight at 7pm.  The Eagles have won 2 straight and were competitive in the majority of losses.  Fergus Falls posted an impressive win at Sartell earlier this season and won by 1 point over Willmar.

Cathedral (3-4) plays at Zimmerman (4-3) tonight.  The Crusaders are coming off a close lose to Mora while Zimmerman is coming off a 40-0 win over Orono last week.
