Home Cleaning Service Employee Arrested For Allegedly Stealing Drugs
ST. CLOUD — A Cold Spring woman was arrested Wednesday in connection to a theft investigation.
The incident happened at about 1:15 p.m. in the 26000 block of Cooper Avenue South in St. Cloud.
Sergeant Jason Burke says the investigation began in April after they received complaints 45-year-old Nichole Zachow was stealing from her client’s home.
Zachow was employed by “Over the Top Cleaners” and suspected in several thefts in St. Cloud, Sartell, Cold Spring, and Stearns County.
During the investigation, police were able to catch Zachow stealing prescription medications from the victims home, while she was there to clean.
Zachow was arrested and taken to the Stearns County Jail. She faces charges of felony theft.
Police are reminding you to be cautious when allowing cleaning services in your home, and to be home while they are cleaning.
