How much wood could a woodchuck chuck? How much ice do we need to perfectly chill a 12-pack?Science has brought us some good news worthwhile for the 12-pack, as we want the perfectly chilled drink, we now know.

Rhett Allain, (a physicist)  figured out to the cube exactly how much ice you need to perfectly chill a 12-pack of beer.

It's all thermodynamics, uh?, after his calculations, he found it takes 250 grams of ice per drink.  That's exactly 6.6 pounds to cool a dozen beers.

Ice usually comes in 10-pound bags soif you drink real slow, you're actually better off using a 10-pound bag.

Really though who drink slow? get that party on, It's Friday and the beer ain't gonna drink itself.

If you have 36 beers in a bucket, make sure there's room for 20 pounds of ice.

I'm ready, let's go!
