Katness Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) has won the 74th Annual Hunger Games and has returned home but know must leave everything behind including family for the 'victory tour'.Catching Fire is the second installment based on the Suzanne Collins novels and stars Jennifer Lawrence, Donald Sutherland, Lenny Kravitz, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth.

Sometimes being the victor isn't always the best way to go as in this case Katness and Peeta become enemies of the state, sort of speak; as on their victory tour from the previous games has ignited a rebellion from the districts of Panem.

Katniss is now a symbol of hope for the growing revolution against the corrupt President Snow.   Katniss is now torn between a love with Peeta which essentially kept them alive in the previous games and to satisfy the Captiol and is keeping her family alive now, her real love for another boy from her very own District 12 and her growing part in the rebellion against a government that she and many others would like to see overthrown.

All of this, and it would seem that she may be thrust into the middle of yet another Hunger Game. Stay Tuned.

It is a continuation and a good bridge between the first part of the trilogy and the third, I give the film a 3.75 out of 5 probably more so for the fact of lack of character development for the game participants. There's no resolution in the ending which holds us to the third segment.

Parental guidance: A slight use of nudity from the lower back on up, some apparent use of alcohol and some bleeped out profanity, really no violence.

The film is showing at The Marcus Parkwood Theaters simply click on the link for showtimes.
