Already the highest scoring team in the country, the fifth-ranked St. Cloud State Huskies (19-5-1) erupted for eight goals last night at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center in St. Cloud, dropping the visiting Western Michigan Broncos (8-9-5) 8-2. The two teams go at it again tonight.

In addition to leading the country in goals scored, the Huskies also lead the nation with 19 wins. SCSU has the 4th best power play at 28%, the 7th best goals against average at 1.96, and Husky goaltender Charlie Lindgren ranks second in the nation in the nets with 18 victories.

The SCSU and WMU will complete their weekend series tonight at 7:07 PM. Great tickets are still available and you can purchase them at the gate or online at www.scsutickets.com.

Go Huskies!
