Hutchinson Man Air-Lifted to Hospital After Meeker County Crash

CEDAR MILLS -- A Hutchinson man was air-lifted to the hospital with serious injuries after crashing into several trees.

The incident happened at about 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of 190th Street and 610th Avenue in Greenleaf Township, north of Cedar Mills.

Meeker County Sheriff Brian Cruze says 32-year-old Jeffery Conklin was heading west on 190th Street, when he failed to stop for the "T" intersection at 610th Avenue, drove off the road and crashed into some trees.

Conklin was flown to Hennipen County Medical Center for life threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
