Ice Castles at the Lift Bridge

We’re about half way through this winter, but before Spring comes along and melts all the lovely snow, you should check out the ice castles at the lift bridge in Stillwater. You can explore archways, towers, carved tunnels, fountains, and slides all made of ice. If you visit after dark all the ice formations supposedly radiate a pretty magical glow. Sounds pretty sweet to me. They’re open on weekdays from 4 PM to 9 PM, except for Tuesdays, when they’re closed. They’re also open on Saturdays from 11 in the morning to 10:30 at night, and Sundays from noon to 9. Check it out while you still can, they’re only open through February 28^th! Ticket prices range from $6 to $14, and you can buy them online at icecastles.com.
