I knew I liked this guy. Governor elect, Tim Walz had a recent meeting with none other than Jesse Ventura. Rumor has it they discussed the legalization of recreational marijuana.

First of all, I think the term "recreational" sounds a little frivolous considering all the health benefits that come with marijuana. Not to mention the tax revenue and a reduction in the use of opioids, which kills many daily.

You know it will eventually be coming to most all states. Even the Federal Government is on a path to remove marijuana from the list of Schedule 1 drugs. Which, by the way, lists marijuana in the same category as meth and heroin.  Ridiculous!

So, the way I see it is this could be on the ballot as early as 2020. There will be opposition, I'm sure. Those who oppose, for the most part, have not educated themselves on the subject and tend to oppose legalization solely on propaganda put out by big pharma and other entities that spew false information.

If the vote was tomorrow, how would you vote? Yes? No?
