The group announced a reunion tour last November, then it was scrapped, then there was a cancer diagnosis, but could it be true? Are the guys working on a new Black Sabbath album?

According to the website MetalInjection.net there is a new Black Sabbath album that's just about in the can.

The page says that the drum and guitar tracks have been laid down and that frontman Ozzy Osbourne bassist Geezer Butler are writing the songs and Ozzy is reportedly working with musical genius Rick Rubin and recording the vocals.

The website says that the group will record 15 songs total; with 12 on the record and three to be released as bonus tracks on future "special editions" of the record. This will be the first album of new material featuring Ozzy since Never Say Die in 1978.

No album title or release date has been announced.
