Jena Malone has been acting since the mid ‘90s, taking roles in several popular TV series, indie films and eventually landing memorable gigs in big Hollywood productions, like Zack Snyder’s ‘Sucker Punch’ (she played “Rocket”) and The History Channel’s recent ‘Hatfields & McCoys’ miniseries.

You probably recognize Malone’s memorable face and big brown eyes. She’s one of those attractive and talented young actresses who seems to pop up in everything but has yet to become a household name. But that all could change soon: According to recent reports, the 27-year-old actress is in talks to join the hugely popular ‘Hunger Games’ film franchise as the sneaky “tribute” Johanna Mason in the planned second movie, ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.’

We encourage you to check out Malone’s previous film work, especially her indie movies, including the dark comedy ‘Saved!,’  ‘The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys,’ and ‘Life As A house,’ in which she plays the sexy girl next door. Oh, and we can’t forget about the movie that first put her on our radar, ‘Donnie Darko,’ the twisted sci-fi/drama/comedy classic in which she plays Donnie’s love interest. (Just don’t blame us if you start having nightmares about demon bunnies and crashing planes.)
