Any Saturday Night Live cast member this side of let's say, 1994, has failed to connect with my humorous side.

Tina Fey? Adam Sandler? Rob Schneider and particularly Will Ferrell?

All hugely successful on one level or another but I can honestly report, I just don't get them.

This includes, perhaps now, to a lesser extent Jimmy Fallon.

I don't think Late Night with Jimmy Fallon is a particularly horrible talk show and I don't find his act as host and comedian unlikeable, just unfunny.

But I've developed a sic respect of him over the past couple years as both a fellow Springsteen fanatic and even moreso as a singing impressionist.

In that vein, the guy is eerie.

Check him out last  Friday night as Jim Morrison, performing the theme to PBS' Reading Rainbow.

Wow.
