John Mellencamp and Stephen King teamed up for a musical production of The Ghost Brothers of Darkland County and now the ghosts are headed out on tour and making a very spooky stop in Minneapolis.

The CD and DVD version of The Ghosts of Darkland County hit store shelves recently and now the musical touring production is hitting the dark, foggy and abandoned roads.

John Mellencamp teamed up with Stephen King and super producer T Bone Burnett for Ghosts and the trio put together an all star cast for the album including Roseanne Cash, Sheryl Crow, and Elvis Costello. No word on who will be part of the touring production, but they way they're staging the Ghost Brothers tour is a little odd.

Artistic director Susan Booth says that there will be little to no set dressing and the cast won't even be in costume. She says that the show will be a, "gothic, story-driven rock concert." Not sure what that means, but you can find out for yourself when the Ghost Brothers tour stops at the State Theater in Minneapolis, very appropriately on Halloween night.

By the way, you can catch John Mellencamp and Stephen King on The Late Show with David Letterman tonight at 10:35.
