John Mellencamp, New Box Set Coming In December [VIDEO]

The music of John Mellencamp and T Bone Burnett in the supernatural musical written by Stephen King, "Ghost Brothers of Darkland County' will be performed  at The State Theater in Minneapolis on Halloween night. December 10th, 2013 look for John's new box set titled, 'John Mellencamp 1978-2012' to be released. It will consist of all three John's, John Cougar, John Cougar Mellencamp and John Mellencamp a total of 19 albums over 35 years.

A total of 223 tracks, bonus tracks (sourced from 2005 re-mastered releases), and everyone of his 30 Billboard Hot 100 singles make up the box set.

John is quoted as saying, "I've come to the conclusion that any record that I put out now, is really just a calling card. I don't really anticipate sellin' a bunch of 'em, because people don't buy 'em anymore! They're calling cards to let people know that I'm still writing songs."

Previously released is his 11 track greatest hits collection.
