JONNY LANG “STILL RAININ'” MONTREUX 99

It's not often you can see an artist just starting out and see them rise to worldwide fame. I had that opportunity with Jonny. Jonny would come on my morning show in Fargo almost weekly to announce where he would be playing.
I remember we used to tease him and call him Kid Jonny Pre-Pube. Being he was only 13 or 14 at the time we'd ask him what he had the blues about, forget your locker combination?
I had the honor of being the first person to play a Jonny lang song on the radio and the first to bring him on stage with his band The Big Bang. Jonny didn't even play guitar then but learned soon from Big Bang guitarist, Ted Larsen, now with The Lamont Cranston Band.
