Journey's long and storied history is coming soon to a small screen near you as their documentary is being shown on PBS.

This is going to be much more than what they covered on Behind the Music on VH1.

Don't Stop Believin': Everyman's Journey will tell the tale of how Journey came to be, their parting with Steve Perry and finding their new lead singer Arnel Pineda.

Arnel told Rolling Stone Magazine that he can't believe what a dramatic turn his life has taken. He grew up dirt poor in the Philipines and literally was singing for his supper and then he got a gig singing in a band. His favorite band was Journey and someone posted a YouTube video of Arnel singing and the guys from the band saw it, found out how to contact Arnel and the rest, as they say, is history.

Of course, it's not that simple and the documentary will cover much more ground than that, but that's the deal in a nut shell.

Don't Stop Believin': Everyman's Journey is debuting on PBS tonight. Check your local listings.
