Journey singer Arnel Pineda is kind of living every man's dream and now a new documentary is making its world premiere this weekend. So, what's it about and what does Steve Perry have to say about it?

Did you know that Arnel Pineda grew up in the Philippines and was once homeless? Now he's touring the world as the front man of a major rock band. It should make a pretty good story and that story is called Don't Stop Believin': Everyman's Journey.

Arnel says that using one of  Journey's biggest songs as part of the title of the film was a pretty cool idea and a way for him to honor what the band and the fans have done for him. He says the song "is the embodiment" of what his entire life means. He says he spent a lot of time just roaming the streets of his home country looking for food and finding a way to survive day to day and now he feels he has found his "place."

The way he found his place is pretty cool. Arnel was discovered when guitarist Neal Schon saw a video of Arnel on YouTube. He was performing one of Journey's songs with a band in Manila and thought, "We gotta get this guy." So far Steve Perry has been mum about the film. Neal will be on hand for the screenings at the Tribeca Film Festival. No word on if it will be placed in wide release.
