Journey Taking Part in Super Bowl 47

Journey is set to team up with one of the biggest singing groups in country music at Super Bowl 47 in New Orleans.

Journey and Rascal Flatts will join forces at Super Bowl 47 for an episode of CMT Crossroads.

If you’ve never watched CMT Crossroads, you’re missing out. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a bad episode of the show. It pairs rock groups and pop singers with country music singers and perform each others’ songs, or they sometimes collaborate and make up a new song. It’s really fun to watch everything come together and now Journey and Rascal Flatts are getting ready to team up on one of the world’s biggest stages.

The collaboration has apparently been in the works since December of 2011  and the two groups did do some work together at the CMT Music Awards last year. Journey and Rascal Flatts are playing together at the New Orleans Sugar Mill on Saturday, February 2 to tape the episode which will air that night at 10pm our time.
