Kiefer Sutherland Confirms New Mortal Kombat Title
The leader of 'The Lost Boys' and the newest voice of Big Boss has inadvertently revealed the existence of an new Mortal Kombat game in the works.
In Kiefer Sutherland's interview with IGN, the '24' star admitted that he contributed to an upcoming Mortal Kombat title. Sutherland said, "I did Mortal Kombat, and that's such a huge game, but it's so not like [Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain]."
We could only assume that a Mortal Kombat title that warranted the vocal contributions of such an illustrious actor would have to be a major followup to the well-received Mortal Kombat reboot of 2011. Given that the Sutherland was not listed in the credits of any previous MK title to date, we must assume that this is for a new, upcoming entry of the series. Unfortunately, Warner Bros. Interactive did not reply to any of IGN's inquiries in regards to this supposed new Mortal Kombat title.
There were rumors a new game would arrive to coincide with the upcoming new movie adaptation, but for now we'll just have to wait and see what NetherRealm has in store for Kiefer and us.
