KISS is writing a new book and just when you thought you knew all there was to know about the group, Gene Simmons swears this book is different than all the other books that have ever been written ever in all of history.

KISS bassist Gene Simmons swears that the new book, called Nothin to Lose: The Making of KISS offers a new perspective about how KISS came to be.

Both Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley are listed as the authors, but they did have a little bit of help with writer Ken Sharp, who also helped KISS write almost all of their books, plus books about Cheap Trick, John Lennon and Eric Carmen.

Gene says the book doesn’t just offer up their version of events. They relive moments with other rock stars, journalists and photographers who were also there. The book also pieces together their formation in the 70’s and their early struggles.

Nothin to Lose: The Making of KISS is in stores now.
