There are very few rock bands in the history of rock music that have had as big of an impact on pop culture as KISS. With that eye catching signature face paint and a stage production that costs a small fortune, KISS has been melting faces since the 1970s.

In a lot of ways, they were The Beatles of their time. Not necessarily musically though. I’ll be the first person to admit that KISS’s songwriting (although not bad by any means) didn’t exactly change the game in the same way that The Beatles, Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd did.

But what they did do was show the world just how elaborate, fun, and theatrical a rock concert could be. And because of that, they’re one of the most recognizable bands of all time.Thankfully for we Minnesotans, we will have the opportunity to see them one final time on their farewell tour. They’re playing Target Center in Minneapolis on March 4th. Tickets are available online now.
